Marie DiCola
Attorney Marie DiCola is a dedicated criminal defense lawyer with a strong foundation in both legal practice and behind-the-scenes experience. She graduated from Kent State University in 2019 and began her legal career as a paralegal at Ohio Defense Firm, where she gained invaluable insight into the criminal justice system. After earning her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 2023, Marie transitioned to practicing law full-time at Ohio Defense Firm.
Marie specializes in criminal law, handling a wide range of cases, from complex felony charges to routine misdemeanor offenses. Her in-court experience includes everything from high-stakes jury trials in aggravated murder cases to more common court appearances, such as those for traffic violations.
Whether representing clients facing serious criminal charges or guiding them through minor offenses, Marie is committed to providing a defense that is both assertive and compassionate. She understands the gravity of each case and works relentlessly to protect her clients' rights, offering a strong voice for those who need it most.
Marie is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association.
