Jury gets Akron quadruple homicide case
AKRON, Ohio — A Summit County jury began deliberations Monday in the death-penalty case involving one of two men accused of committing a quadruple homicide.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys presented closing arguments in the case for most of Monday.
Deshanon Haywood, 22, faces the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder. He faces 22 counts, including 13 counts of aggravated murder, four counts of aggravated robbery, four counts of kidnapping and one count of aggravated burglary.
